Scripps Ranch Planning Group

Scripps Ranch was established in the 1890s in northeast San Diego, California. The community continues to proudly maintain its motto, "Scripps Ranch - Country Living."

The SRPG works to improve the quality of life throughout the community by ensuring that the Scripps Ranch of the future is concurrent with the ideals of the past and the SR community plan. The SRPG serves as an advisory voice to the San Diego planning commission on land use matters within the community boundaries.

SRPG Community Plan:

The Scripps Miramar Ranch Community Plan was adopted by the City Council in August 1978. The plan can be viewed from the following links, or purchased at the City of San Diego's City Planning and Community Investment Department, 202 C Street. SRPG Public Facilities Financing Plan:

The current Scripps Miramar Ranch Public Facilities Financing Plan and Facilities Benefit Assessment, Fiscal Year 2007 was approved by the City Council on April 17, 2007. The plan can be viewed from the following links or purchased from the City Planning & Community Investment Department, Facilities Financing Section, located at 1010 Second Avenue, Suite 600, East Tower. SRPG meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 7pm.  Meetings take place at the Scripps Ranch Library.
